OpenAI's Request to View Apple and Musk Companies' Confidential Agreement Denied

A US federal court has rejected OpenAI's demand to review a confidential agreement between Apple and companies linked to Elon Musk, including X and SpaceX AI. CryptoBriefing reported that OpenAI had sought access to the non-public document but was denied by the court.
According to reports, Judge Mark Pitman of the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas ruled on July 17 that the agreement was not relevant to remaining legal disputes after reviewing it in private. The case stems from an antitrust lawsuit filed by X and SpaceX AI, alleging that Apple and OpenAI restricted market access for competing AI applications. Both Apple and OpenAI have denied these claims, with proceedings continuing against OpenAI.
