Profound Raises $180 Million, Valued at $1.8 Billion

AI search marketing startup Profound has raised $180 million (approximately 24.25 billion won), with its valuation recognized at $180 million (approximately 242.5 billion won). PANews reported on May 15 that Bloomberg cited a Series D investment round for Profound, led jointly by Sequoia Capital and Kleiner Perkins.

Profound, established in 2024, has raised over $335 million (approximately 45.12 billion won) in total. Based in New York, the company provides software that tracks how frequently brands are mentioned and in what context within AI chatbot responses from OpenAI's ChatGPT and Google's Gemini.
