Rep. Song Eun-seok Calls for Abolition of Cryptocurrency Income Tax

Rep. Song Eun-seok of the People Power Party has stated that cryptocurrency income tax should be abolished. The lawmaker said on Facebook today, "We must consider tax fairness between stocks and virtual assets. Given the nature of virtual assets as a global single market, imposing income tax on them could lead to significant capital moving overseas to places like Singapore and Hong Kong."
