Revolut Contacts 680 Customers Affected by Data Leak Involving Bitcoin Activity

Revolut has reportedly contacted 680 customers affected by a data breach. Exposed information includes passport details, bank account numbers, home addresses, and Bitcoin activity records. Financial Times (FT) reported that Revolut provided customer information in response to a phishing attempt where cybercriminals impersonated government officials using fake emails from legitimate government domains. The UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) is investigating the incident. Revolut stated that its systems and customer funds remain unaffected, though it declined to comment on the number of affected customers.
