Revolut Data Leak Claim Group Demands 6000 XMR Within 24 Hours

A group claiming responsibility for a Revolut data leak has demanded payment of 6,000 XMR within 24 hours or else it will sell the customer information it claims to have acquired. The amount requested equals approximately $3 million (about 4.1 billion KRW). Financial Times reported on October 16 that the self-styled group 'iamnotavillain' posted a countdown online and made this demand. The group stated it would sell the data if Revolut refuses to pay, with Financial Times noting that around 680 customers were affected by the alleged data leak.
