Revolut Hacker Demands 6,000 XMR or Sell Data of 680 Customers

A hacker group claiming to have stolen Revolut customer data has warned it will sell the personal information of around 680 customers to another criminal organization if 6,000 XMR (approximately $3 million or 4.11 billion won) is not paid within 24 hours. The group, operating under the name 'iamnotavillain,' posted an online countdown and made the demand, according to Financial Times. The hackers claim they used a legitimate Italian government email account to request customer data from Revolut. Revolut told Reuters that it has not received direct contact or ransom demands, and confirmed its core infrastructure, databases, and customer accounts were not compromised, with no impact on customer funds.
