Ripple's XRP Ledger AI Starter Kit 1.1 Supports Stripe and Tempo MPP

Ripple's XRP Ledger AI Starter Kit 1.1 now supports the Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) developed jointly by Stripe and Tempo. RippleX Developers stated in a post that this version adds MPP support, Open Wallet Standard (OWS), and command-line tools for local testing.

MPP allows services to send payment requests via HTTP 402 status code, with AI agents approving payments before delivering requested data or APIs. RippleX Developers noted the kit supports single payments based on XRP, IOU, and MPT, as well as session payments using XRP payment channels. Session payments based on stablecoins are planned after the XRP Ledger upgrade.
