Robinhood CEO Says Tokenization Brings Innovation to U.S. Market

Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenenb has commented on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) easing of regulations around tokenized securities.
According to BlockViz, Tenenb stated that tokenization is coming to the U.S. market following the SEC's recent decision to allow limited trading of tokenized stocks on blockchain platforms.
He added that thanks to the SEC's leadership, Americans can now finally access immediate settlement, 24/7 trading, and fractional transactions as benefits of tokenization.
Tenenb also called it a good day for innovation in America, stating more users will be able to engage with cryptocurrency technology and related financial innovations.
Earlier today, the SEC announced an 'Innovation Exemption' policy that will grant conditional regulatory relief for tokenized securities trading platforms meeting specific criteria for five years.
