Robinhood Chain Stablecoin Supply Reaches $1 Billion, USDG at 67%

The stablecoin supply on Robinhood Chain has reached approximately $1 billion (about 1.381 trillion KRW). USDG accounts for roughly 67% of the total, while USDe issued by Ena (ENA) makes up nearly 30%. Block later reported that the stablecoin supply on Robinhood Chain grew from about $24.1 million in early July to approximately $1 billion recently. USDG is listed as the largest stablecoin on the chain, followed by USDe. Stablecoins are cryptocurrencies designed to maintain value tied to specific assets like the dollar. Robinhood describes USDG as a stablecoin backed by dollar reserves and supports trading or transferring it within its services. The platform also offers 'Robinhood Earn,' allowing users to move USDG to personal wallets and use it for on-chain loans via the Morpho protocol. However, the company notes that this product is not a bank deposit or traditional savings option, and asset withdrawals may be delayed due to liquidity in the lending protocol and smart contracts. Robinhood Chain, built on Arbitrum technology as a Layer 2 blockchain, launched its public mainnet in July, incorporating tokenized stocks, decentralized exchange, and lending/borrowing features. Earlier analysis suggested that deposits on Robinhood Chain increased more closely tied to stablecoin inflows than tokenized stocks, with this data reflecting the scale and composition of dollar-linked liquidity on the chain. Nevertheless, the stablecoin supply does not directly indicate the chain's total transaction volume or user count.
