Robinhood's Crypto Trading Volume Up 61% MoM in August

Robinhood's crypto trading volume for August rose 61% month-over-month to $17.5 billion, according to The Block, which includes the trading volume of Robinhood's subsidiary Bitstamp. Bitstamp recorded $10.1 billion in transactions during the month. However, compared to the same period last year, volumes decreased by 38%. Robinhood acquired cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp from Nexon for $200 million in 2024. As of August 31, Robinhood's total assets stood at $384 billion, representing an 8% increase from July and a 26% year-over-year rise.
