Robinhood Engineers Charged with Using Non-Public Crypto Listing Information

Two Robinhood engineers have been charged by U.S. prosecutors for allegedly using the company's non-public virtual asset listing information to profit on Hyperliquid, according to a report. WuBlockchain reported that the U.S. Southern District of New York Prosecutors filed charges against Hefu Chai and Huaisong Xiang, two Robinhood engineers, who are accused of trading based on undisclosed cryptocurrency listings. WuBlockchain stated that the individuals face charges of commodity fraud and wire fraud.
