RobinScan Launches as Dedicated Blockchain Explorer for Robinhood Chain

RobinScan, a dedicated blockchain explorer for the Robinhood Chain, has been released. The explorer's address is robin.etherscan.io, and the mainnet chain ID for Robinhood Chain is 4663. Portside News reported that Etherscan announced the launch of RobinScan via X.

Blockchain explorers are services that allow users to view transactions, blocks, wallet addresses, token movements, and smart contract information on a network. The Robinhood Chain is built as an Arbitrum Layer 2 network on Ethereum, utilizing Ethereum for data availability and using ETH for network fees. The official developer documentation states the mainnet chain ID is 4663 and the testnet chain ID is 46630.

Robinhood describes its chain as an Ethereum-compatible Layer 2 designed to enable the issuance and movement of real-world assets like tokenized stocks and ETFs on-chain. The network operates separately from Robinhood's intermediary accounts or virtual asset accounts. Following previous coverage about the network's transaction volume and deposit changes, the addition of a dedicated explorer provides another way for users to directly monitor transactions and tokenized asset movements.

However, the official documentation still lists Blockscout as the blockchain explorer for Robinhood Chain. The roles and officially supported scope of RobinScan versus the existing Blockscout will need to be clarified in additional documentation. According to RobinScan's documentation, users can view blocks, transactions, addresses, tokens, tokenized stocks, and Nitro deployment information on the Robinhood Chain. The default gas asset is Ethereum (ETH).
