Securitize's RWA on Avalanche Hits $769.9M, Up 628.4% From Previous

Securitize's tokenized real-world assets (RWA) managed on Avalanche (AVAX) have been reported at $769.9 million (approximately KRW 1.547 trillion), marking a 628.4% increase compared to previous data, according to Crypto Briefing as of September 17.

The total RWA on Avalanche is nearing $1.7 billion (approximately KRW 23.29 trillion), with Securitize accounting for roughly half of this market. This growth includes Securitize's own common stock tokenization, which began trading on the NYSE under ticker SECZ starting July 2.

Securitize clarified that SECZ tokens represent tradable common shares listed on the NYSE and are offered through regulated platforms targeting eligible U.S. investors. The company noted that tokenization does not eliminate legal or contractual restrictions applicable to stocks, as it manages ownership and transaction records via blockchain.

As of June 30, Securitize reported total asset under management (AUM) for tokenized assets at $4.3 billion (approximately KRW 5.891 trillion), with a quarterly average of the same figure. CEO Carlos Domingo stated in July that on-chain managed assets were approximately $5 billion as of that month, though this reflects a different reporting period than the quarter-end data.

Other platforms like RWA.xyz show varying figures for Avalanche's tokenized RWA, listing it at $625.7 million (approximately KRW 857.8 billion) with 58 assets as of their latest update. These discrepancies arise from differences in reporting dates and asset inclusion criteria.

Securitize provides infrastructure for security tokenization on Avalanche's C-chain and EVM-compatible networks, connecting institutional products requiring regulatory compliance to the public blockchain ecosystem. The firm has participated in tokenizing institutional assets such as BlackRock's BUIDL, KKR funds, and Hamilton Lane products.
