Snap's AR Glasses Gain Enterprise Partnerships with NVIDIA, AWS, Salesforce

Snap's AR glasses are heading toward factories and store counters. Snap announced on June 12 that it has selected NVIDIA, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Salesforce as corporate partners for its Spectacles glasses.
This move opens a second market for the device after receiving skeptical reactions from investors in June. Procurement teams prioritize business viability over aesthetics.
Snap's AR glasses will feature AI agents powered by NVIDIA, AWS, and Salesforce. Snap targets retail, manufacturing, and field operations. Salesforce provides its Agentforce business AI platform for Spectacles, allowing employees to identify objects, open cases, and update records without using their hands.
AWS connects Spectacles with Amazon Quick, a work-focused AI assistant. In a retail example provided by Snap, staff can ask about product locations and check stock levels on screen.
NVIDIA offers AI agents through its XR software stack for spatial understanding, extracting corporate data, and guiding tasks.
No commercial details were disclosed. Snap did not mention pilot customers or enterprise pricing.
Snap's stock requires additional momentum beyond partner announcements. Its consumer-focused strategy has been challenging: Snap launched Spectacles priced at $2,195 on June 2, with shares dropping nearly 10% that day.
Snap closed at $5.72, down 1.89%, marking a 30% annual decline. The company reported a $31.1 million loss over the past year through June. Enterprise contracts offer more stable revenue than device sales, but investors are questioning AI spending across the industry.
Salesforce saw its stock rise 22% in early September after announcing a deal with Anthropic, addressing similar market concerns. Wall Street remains cautious: 43 analysts covering Snap maintain 'hold' ratings, with an average target price of $7.38—about 29% above recent closing prices.
Spectacles will launch in the U.S., UK, and France this fall. Partner logos can be used for 2027 budget planning, but actual contracts will drive stock movement.
