SoftBank Considering $10-20 Billion AI Bond Issuance Next Week

SoftBank Group is considering issuing bonds worth $10-20 billion (approximately KRW 13.81 trillion to KRW 27.62 trillion) next week to raise funds for AI investments, according to Bloomberg citing anonymous sources. The report states SoftBank is potentially preparing around $21 billion (approximately KRW 29.1 trillion) in new borrowing. The margin lending limit backed by Arm ($ARM) stock has been increased by $5 billion to $25 billion (approximately KRW 34.525 trillion), while the company also added $450 million (approximately KRW 621.5 billion) to its existing credit line, raising the total to $6.5 billion (approximately KRW 8.9765 trillion).
