SoftBank Expands Arm Equity Loan to $25 Billion

SoftBank Group ($9984) has expanded its secured loan backed by Arm ($ARM) equity from $20 billion (approximately KRW 27.62 trillion) to $25 billion (approximately KRW 34.525 trillion), Bloomberg reported on the 18th. The financial news outlet noted that SoftBank Group recently renegotiated terms with several lenders and signed new agreements this month. This loan expansion is seen as a move to secure additional funding for AI-related investments without selling its Arm stake.
