SoftBank Subsidiary Files US IPO Registration

SoftBank Group subsidiary SB Energy has filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a potential initial public offering (IPO). The SoftBank Group announced on September 2 (U.S. time) that SB Energy submitted its Form S-1 related to common stock IPO to the SEC on September 1 (U.S. time).

SB Energy has applied to list on the Nasdaq Global Select Market and Nasdaq Texas under ticker symbol SBE. SoftBank Group stated that the number of shares to be offered and price range have not yet been determined, and whether the IPO proceeds and timing may vary depending on the effectiveness of the registration statement and market conditions.
