Solana Increases Maximum Transaction Size by Over Three Times

Solana (SOL) has implemented an upgrade on its mainnet at 10 a.m. KST on the 15th, increasing the maximum transaction size from 1,232 bytes to 4,096 bytes, according to CoinTelegraph. This allows complex operations such as zero-knowledge proofs and multi-signatures, which were previously difficult to handle within a single transaction, to be processed in one go. Compatibility with existing transactions is maintained, but protocols wishing to utilize the increased capacity must update to the newly introduced v1 transaction format.
