Solana Transaction Capacity Doubles to 4096 Bytes Amid Network Upgrade

Solana's maximum transaction size has been expanded from 1232 bytes to 4096 bytes with the activation of Transaction V1 on mainnet epoch 1035, increasing single-transaction processing capacity by 3.3 times. Anza announced the implementation via X, while the Solana Foundation confirmed epoch 1035 began at approximately 10:20 a.m. KST on September 15.
