Standard Chartered Predicts ARB Could Reach $10 by 2030

Standard Chartered has set a target price of $10 for Arbitrum (ARB) by the end of 2030. Compared to the current price of approximately $0.13, this represents potential upside of about 70 times.

According to U.S. financial media StockTwits on September 15, Geoff Kendrick, Global Head of Digital Asset Research at Standard Chartered, analyzed that Arbitrum could grow into a blockchain infrastructure provider for traditional financial institutions, citing the launch of the Robinhood Chain.

Kendrick stated, "The recent launch of the Robinhood Chain demonstrates that Arbitrum could be the top choice when traditional financial firms move assets on-chain." The bank believes Arbitrum's revenue base has significantly expanded following the Robinhood Chain launch. Kendrick forecasts Arbitrum's monthly revenue will reach around $5 million in September if current trends continue, a more than fivefold increase from pre-Robinhood Chain levels.

Arbitrum operates its own Layer 2 network while also providing technology and support for other companies to build their own Layer 2 networks. It collects a 10% fee on the net revenue of those networks.

Standard Chartered forecasts that the tokenized assets market could grow to $400 billion by the end of 2028. If traditional financial firms expand their on-chain presence, Arbitrum may benefit from this trend. However, potential risks include slowing growth in the tokenized asset market and competition with other blockchains. The bank also noted that current ARB token value does not directly correlate with revenue generated by Arbitrum.
