Strategi Rebuys $139 Million in STRC Shares, Maintains BTC Holdings

Strategi ($MSTR) has repurchased 1.42467 million STRC shares for $139 million (approximately KRW 189 billion), but did not make any additional Bitcoin (BTC) purchases for the second consecutive week. The company's BTC holdings remain at 845,050 BTC, unchanged from the previous week. Strategi disclosed in an 8-K filing submitted on April 14 that it acquired STRC shares between April 8 and 13. The repurchase was funded with cash reserves. Strategi's average acquisition price for Bitcoin stands at $75,412. Total acquisition costs amount to approximately $63.73 billion (about KRW 8.67 trillion). STRC is a variable-rate perpetual preferred stock issued by Strategi. The company previously spent $176.3 million (approximately KRW 239.8 billion) on STRC repurchases the prior week. While this purchase was smaller than the previous week, the trend of buying its own preferred shares without purchasing additional Bitcoin continued. Cash reserves decreased from $144 million to $130 million, representing a reduction from approximately KRW 1.9584 trillion to KRW 1.768 trillion based on an exchange rate of 1 USD = 1,360 KRW. The company's $2 billion digital credit securities repurchase program has approximately $1.05 billion remaining.
