Strategy Acquires $237.5M in STRC Preferred Shares, Bitmain Boosts ETH Holdings by 4.9%

Strategy ($MSTR) acquired 1.81885 million shares of STRC preferred stock using $176.3 million in cash (approximately 23.75 billion won), with the purchase period running from August 31 to September 7. Strategy disclosed on September 8 that it used USD Cash for the acquisition, as reported in an 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The company also increased its digital credit security purchase limit from $1 billion to $2 billion (approximately 269.4 billion won) in the same document.

Bitmain stated in a press release on September 14 that as of 5:30 p.m. EDT on September 13, it held 5.956378 million ETH, representing 4.9% of the total supply of 122 million ETH. The company added that it purchased an additional 27,180 ETH last week.
