SwissBorg Adds Direct USDC Deposits for Arc Network

SwissBorg Adds Direct USDC Deposits for Arc Network

SwissBorg has begun supporting direct USDC deposits from the Arc network, allowing users to transfer Arc's USDC directly to their SwissBorg accounts without using a bridge. This integration coincides with Arc's public mainnet launch on September 16.

Arc listed SwissBorg as one of the initial trading platforms connected to its mainnet launch in an official announcement. Arc is an EVM-compatible Layer-1 network that uses USDC as its native gas asset, claiming transactions reach finality within one second. Bridges are intermediary infrastructure for moving assets between different blockchains; previously, sending USDC from external wallets or other networks to Arc required this intermediate step.

PlaygroundBridge notes a 'launch premium' of 3-25% may apply to Arc inbound transactions based on demand in its official documentation. It remains unclear whether this fee structure applies universally across the Arc ecosystem. SwissBorg's direct deposit support aims to reduce such intermediary steps, though reduced bridge fees do not eliminate network costs or SwissBorg's service fees. Whether SwissBorg charges separate fees for these deposits is not disclosed in available materials.

Users should verify Arc deposit functionality within their app and confirm address and network compatibility before sending funds. SwissBorg previously listed Ethereum, Polygon, Avalanche, Solana, Arbitrum, and Optimism as supported USDC networks in an August 2025 announcement but did not include Arc at that time.

SwissBorg warns that sending assets to unsupported networks may result in fund loss. Other platforms like Kraken, OKX, Binance, MEXC, and Upbit are also listed as initial supporters of Arc in the official announcement. Kraken announced support for Arc-based USDC deposits starting September 16, while OKX began supporting these deposits at 4:00 AM UTC (1:00 PM KST) on the same day.

Arc is designed to allow users to pay network fees using USDC directly without holding volatile assets for gas. The mainnet launch date of September 16 aligns with SwissBorg's integration as an initial trading platform access point. Earlier, Aster also announced Arc integration supporting USDC deposits and withdrawals.

Whether SwissBorg users can actually deposit Arc-based USDC depends on account status and regional app support availability. Community discussions have speculated about potential network additions, but no significant market reaction or price impact has been observed. Related community posts have been published, though the integration adds another direct USDC deposit path from Arc to trading platforms.
