Tale, Aave-based Private Lending Platform, Raises $13.25 Million

Tale, an Aave-based private credit infrastructure platform, has raised a $13.25 million (approximately 18.2 billion KRW) seed funding round. Blockchain Capital led the investment, with notable participation from key executives at Aave and Tether. In its press release on June 16, Tale disclosed that investors include Janus Henderson, Apollo Global Management, Strobe Ventures, Venture Department, NeoClassic Capital, and the Aave Foundation. Additionally, Stanislaw Kulczyk of Aave CEO, Phil Potter of Tether co-founder, and Henri Stern of Privy CEO participated as individual investors.

Tale plans to use the funds to build software that integrates loan asset issuance, management, and financial financing on the Aave blockchain.
