Temporal Secures $550 Million in Funding, Valued at $16.9 Trillion

AI startup Temporal has secured a follow-on investment of $550 million (approximately 73.9 billion won), valuing the company at $12.55 billion (roughly 1.69 trillion won). Reuters reported on April 14 that Lightspeed Venture Partners led the Series E funding round, with Wellington Management, Goldman Sachs Alternative Investments' growth equity division, and Tiger Global participating as co-investors. SV Angel and T. Rowe Price Associates advisory accounts also joined the investment. Existing investors including Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Sequoia Capital, and GIC re-participated in this round. Reuters noted that Temporal's valuation has more than doubled within seven months.
