Top 3 Altcoins by Weekly Gain: BTW Leads with 43.2% Surge

Bitway (BTW), Venice Token (VVV), and Filecoin (FIL) recorded the largest weekly gains among the top 100 assets over the past seven days. However, aside from their ranking, the three altcoins share few commonalities.
BTW surged 43.2% over the week to trade near $0.70, though its chart signals remain the weakest of the trio. FIL saw the smallest gain but has the closest support level and strongest trading volume.
CoinGecko's weekly leaderboard highlights BTW as the top performer with a 43.2% rise. The token operates on Bitway Ledger, a Proof-of-Stake chain where it serves as both gas and governance token. Daily charts show selling pressure near $0.75–$0.78 resistance, with today's candle moving from $0.5439 to $0.7944—a 46% range.
Trading volume during September's breakout was lower than June and July records, indicating reduced participation that has exposed vulnerabilities in other altcoins this year.
VVV rose 33.5% weekly to trade around $22.33 after a 26.7% pullback from its September 9 peak of $29.288. The correction halted precisely at the previous all-time high of $21.469 recorded on June 3, reinforced by a 0.236 Fibonacci retracement level at $22.806.
FIL climbed 61.3% from its August 18 low of $0.6095 to trade near $0.99, with daily trading volume reaching $420 million against a market cap of $823 million. The token broke above the $0.80 level, aligning with a 0.236 Fibonacci retracement zone before retreating from $1.0370 today.
Key support for FIL lies at $0.9668 (a 0.5 retracement), with resistance at $1.0511. BTW's nearest support is at $0.48, 31% below current price, while VVV tests a retested support zone near its prior high.
