UC Investments Launches $2.5 Billion ETF UCBG in US Market

UC Investments has launched the UCBG ETF in the U.S. market with a $250 million investment (approximately 3.3675 trillion KRW). UCBG allocates 90% to large-cap U.S. stocks and 10% to investment-grade corporate bonds maturing within one to three years. State Street Investment Management announced the launch of UCBG and UC Investments' investment on February 2.

State Street stated that this investment represents the largest ETF launch by a foreign entity in the U.S. market. ProShares previously launched the ProShares GENIUS Money Market ETF (IQMM) on February 17, meeting requirements under the GENIUS Act. IQMM is designed to invest in short-term U.S. Treasuries and can be used as stablecoin reserves.
