The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), in collaboration with tax authorities and police, has intensified enforcement against unregistered peer-to-peer (P2P) digital asset trading businesses in London. The FCA issued shutdown notices to three entities suspected of illegal P2P transactions, demanding they cease all related activities. This action follows a similar operation in April and represents the second publicly disclosed joint crackdown on P2P trading this year.
