Uniswap Adds U-USDG Liquidity Pool on Robinhood Chain

Uniswap V4 has added a liquidity pool connecting United Stablecoins’ U and PAXOS’ USDG on the Robinhood Chain, according to reports. The actual size of the pool’s liquidity and trading volume have not been confirmed.

Crypto Briefing reported on July 17 that the U-USDG pool is operational on Uniswap V4. This adds an exchange route between two dollar-pegged stablecoins. Uniswap announced on July 2 via its official blog that it deployed V2, V3, V4, and UniswapX on the Robinhood Chain.

The Robinhood Chain’s chain ID is listed as 4663 in developer documentation. Robinhood introduced the chain as an Arbitrum-based Layer 2 solution, aiming to advance on-chain financial services including tokenized stocks, loans, and borrowing, with Uniswap positioned as a key open liquidity protocol.

USDG is a dollar-pegged stablecoin issued by PAXOS. PAXOS has documented the USDG contract address for the Robinhood Chain, describing it as an Arbitrum Orbit-based Layer 2 network. U is issued by United Stablecoins, which states that U is backed 1:1 with fiat currency and high-quality stablecoins but is not available to residents or entities in the US, EU, or Hong Kong.

United Stablecoins also notes that U has not been registered, approved, or licensed under relevant regulatory frameworks. Availability depends on jurisdiction and service conditions. On-chain data shows approximately $29.98 million (about 41 billion KRW) of U circulating on the Robinhood Chain. DeFiLlama reported Uniswap V4’s active TVL at $3,381 (about 463 million KRW), categorized under Ethereum.

These figures differ by network and scope, so they do not directly indicate the actual liquidity or trading volume of the U-USDG pool on Robinhood Chain. The true size requires verification through specific pool addresses. While PancakeSwap announced via its official X account that the U-USDG pool is operational on Robinhood Chain, no details about the pool’s liquidity were provided.

Liquidity pools between dollar-pegged stablecoins may reduce impermanent loss compared to trading pairs involving volatile assets. Impermanent loss occurs when the relative value of assets deposited differs from holding them directly. Actual trading efficiency and liquidity provision outcomes depend on pool size and fee structure, with bridge and smart contract stability also requiring user verification.
