Uniswap v4 Hooks 80.6% Classified as Malicious or Suspicious

Analysis has shown that 80.6% of the 84,163 Uniswap v4 hooks were classified as malicious or suspected malicious. Some transactions resulted in actual received amounts being 50% lower than quoted estimates. Virtual asset infrastructure company 0x conducted a static analysis, dynamic analysis, and real transaction observation across six chains for Uniswap v4 hooks, stating that only 19.4% of the total hooks were classified as safe.
