Upbit and Seoul City to Host 'Upclass Financial Golden Bell' Event on September 19

TwoNamu (CEO Oh Gyeong-seok), operator of the cryptocurrency exchange Upbit, will co-host the 'Seoul City X Upbit' program with Seoul City at the Moonlight Square Main Stage in Banpo Hangang Park on September 19 to enhance young people's practical financial skills.

The event, part of a July agreement between TwoNamu and Seoul City to strengthen youth economic and financial capabilities, will use interactive quizzes rather than lectures to help participants assess real-life financial situations. The quiz topics are based on Upbit's 'Upclass' educational expertise, covering essential knowledge such as asset management basics, credit and loan concepts like revolving payments and BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later), digital assets including Bitcoin, blockchain, stablecoins, and RWA (Real-World Assets), and prevention of evolving financial frauds like voice phishing, QR scams, and deepfakes.

Participants can preview key concepts through Upbit's official YouTube and Instagram channels before the event. The main activity involves solving quiz questions on personal smartphones at the venue with a cumulative scoring system that allows all participants to continue until the final question without elimination for incorrect answers. Top scorers will receive prizes including AirPods 4 (1st place), Shinsegae gift cards worth 100,000 KRW (2nd place), Bitcoin gift cards and Bitcoin money cushions worth 50,000 KRW (3rd place), and Naver Pay vouchers worth 50,000 KRW (4th place). Additional on-site events include surprise quizzes for pizza sets and Upbit merchandise, plus a lucky draw after the event.

The event will run from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on September 19. It is free and open to all Seoul youth and citizens interested in youth policies. Registration via Naver is required by noon on September 19 (first-come, first-served), but walk-ins may join if seats remain after the registered attendees enter.

An Upbit representative stated, 'This Upclass Financial Golden Bell event aims to make finance and digital assets more approachable for young people,' adding that Upbit will continue to lead in promoting financial literacy and understanding of digital assets as part of its ESG initiatives.
