US CFTC Submits Digital Asset Regulation Proposal to White House... Accelerating Independent Framework

The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has submitted a new set of rules governing digital asset (virtual asset) trading and markets to the White House review process. With congressional efforts to pass the comprehensive Digital Asset Market Structure Act, known as the Clarity Act, stalled, the CFTC is accelerating its own independent regulatory framework using existing legal authority.
