US Democratic Party Prepares Counterproposal to Republican Clarity Act Amendment

US Democratic senators are preparing a counterproposal to the latest Republican amendment of the cryptocurrency market structure bill, known as the Clarity Act, just hours before a key procedural vote. The move comes amid ongoing dissatisfaction within the Democratic Party over ethical provisions in the proposed legislation.

According to blockchain media CoinTelegraph, concerns persist among Democrats regarding the ethical clauses related to cryptocurrencies included in the latest version of the bill.
