U.S. House Committees Advance Cryptocurrency Tax and Strategic BTC Reserve Bill Markup

With the Clarifying Act's passage in the Senate becoming increasingly unlikely, the U.S. House continues to advance legislative processes related to cryptocurrency, according to Eleanor Terrett, host of the American crypto podcast 'Crypto in America.' Terrett reported that the House Ways and Means Committee will conduct a markup on H.R.10357, the Digital Asset Tax Clarity Act, on Thursday (local time). At the same time, the House Financial Services Committee began markups on multiple bills, including Representative Nick Bugezich's Strategic Bitcoin Reserve bill, H.R.8957, the America Reserves Modernization Act.
