World Launches Financial App Integrating Stablecoins and Investment Features

World has announced plans to launch a financial application called 'World Money' that integrates stablecoin storage, remittance, investment, and revenue-generating features. The app's functionality may vary by country. On July 17, World stated in its official blog that World Money will provide stablecoin custody, transfers, investments, revenue generation, virtual accounts, and global payments all in one platform. Existing users of the World app or World ID can continue using their existing authentication without creating a new account.

World explained in its official guide that users can deposit World Coin (WLD) and stablecoins into revenue programs, though rewards are variable and there is a risk of principal loss. The program operates on the on-chain lending protocol Morpho.
