World Launches World Money App in Over 150 Countries with Stripe Integration

World has started launching its self-custody financial app, World Money, in more than 150 countries. The app allows users to hold balances in eight currencies and send digital assets across borders. According to World's official blog, the app began sequential rollout starting on July 17th for over 150 countries, with varying features and eligibility by country. The app includes virtual accounts, portfolio tracking, transaction history, and price alerts.

World also announced that it will integrate with Stripe, starting with the U.S., allowing Apple Pay funds to be converted into stablecoins within minutes and deposited into self-custody wallets. Users who complete World ID verification can receive expanded rewards in select loyalty programs.
