World Launches 'World Money' App with Stablecoin and Global Payment Features

WLD issuer World (formerly World Coin) announced the launch of its integrated finance app 'World Money' via an official blog post on the 17th. The app will begin rolling out in over 150 countries sequentially. World states that 'World Money' is designed to consolidate daily financial activities such as receiving salaries, holding assets, earning rewards, investing, making payments, and sending global digital asset remittances into a single platform. Users can charge, hold, and utilize digital assets through the app while maintaining balances in USD or supported local currency-backed stablecoins. Additionally, users can send and receive international transfers free of charge using digital assets. Mini-apps such as Kalshi, Credit, and MORPHO are also available.
