XRP Chart Signal Emerges After 13 Years

XRP is currently trading around $1.29 after a sharp correction. This decline has pushed its two-week relative strength index (RSI) to an all-time low in its 13-year trading history.

The record-low RSI has reignited debate over whether XRP has finally hit the bottom of this cycle. Analyst Cryptollica noted that the current two-week RSI of approximately 33.5 is lower than during the 2018 downturn, 2020 coronavirus crash, and 2022 crypto winter.

According to charts, XRP remains within a long-term ascending channel—a structure guiding asset movement through multiple market cycles. The price is currently near the bottom of this structure, an area historically providing strong support.

Cryptollica argues that market participants are misinterpreting the situation, with sentiment severely dampened and short-term price flow damaged. However, higher-level trendlines remain intact. 'When charts look this damaged, almost no one wants XRP, but big rallies often follow extreme conditions,' the analyst said.

EGRAG Crypto added that XRP's two-month RSI has re-entered previous zones associated with bottom formations, emphasizing that cycle movement matters more than the numerical value itself.

Not all analysts are convinced of a bottom. Technical analyst ChartNerd pointed out that XRP is trapped between the 20-week moving average around $1.29 and resistance at the 50-week moving average near $1.52. If weekly closes fall below $1.29, ChartNerd warns it could drop to the psychological support level of $1.00. He also noted that lower lows and lower highs on medium-term charts suggest continued correction rather than a clear reversal.

CrediBULL Crypto, however, sees improving relative strength starting from this RSI low, offering a more positive outlook. 'XRP has reached a true technical turning point,' the analyst stated, highlighting the combination of all-time low RSI, maintained multi-year structure, and negative sentiment creating what they call the market's highest risk-reward battleground at present.
