XRP (Ripple) Shows Potential for Breakout After Long Consolidation

XRP (Ripple) has seen a recent drop from $1.49 to $1.29, a decline of about 13%, after reaching $1.45 earlier in the week. According to blockchain technology firm Cobots Labs, XRP traded at $1.29 on May 18 at 9 AM.
Historical chart analysis comparing current and past price movements shows similarities with a period from May 7, 2025, when XRP was trading around $2.13. The error score for this comparison is 7.77, indicating a close match in chart patterns. Back then, XRP had fallen from around $2.35 in late April to trade between $2.20 and $2.30 before rebounding slightly to $2.13.
Following that rebound, XRP rose to over $2.60 by mid-May, gaining approximately 22% within a week. However, it then consolidated for about two months between $2.00 and $2.50 before surging again in late July to reach around $3.60, marking a roughly 69% increase from the $2.13 level.
