Zcash's NU7 Block Time Reduction Proposal Gains 99.9% Support

Zcash (ZEC) has seen its proposed network upgrade for the next NU7 update gain overwhelming support, with a plan to reduce block generation time from 75 seconds to 25 seconds receiving 99.9% backing. The existing halving schedule proposal also secured 98.9% approval. The vote results, reported by Zombit based on ZEC holder voting, were calculated according to ZEC holdings and included abstentions.
