ZEC Could Grow as Privacy Asset Complementing BTC, But Governance Improvements Needed

Paradigm co-founder Matt Huang has forecasted that ZEC could see wider adoption as a privacy-focused asset complementing Bitcoin. Speaking on X, he emphasized that inflation-based developer funds are crucial for securing long-term development funding in blockchain ecosystems. Huang also highlighted the need for continuous development investment to counter AI-driven cyberattacks and advancements in quantum computing. He argued that for ZEC to gain trust as a long-term monetary asset, it should not rely solely on token holder voting but adopt additional governance models.
ZEC is currently trading at $1345.24, up 20.44% according to CoinMarketCap.
