ZEC to shorten block generation interval to 25 seconds in NU7 upgrade

Zcash (ZEC) holders have voted 99.9% and 98.9% in favor of shortening the block generation interval from 75 seconds to 25 seconds while keeping the current halving schedule intact, according to CoinDesk.

The NU7 upgrade will undergo further development and testing before being implemented on the live network.
